About Ruolin
Ruolin Shi is a Calgary-based artist who finds endless inspiration in the landscapes of Western Canada. From the Rocky Mountains to the rugged, windswept coastlines of the Pacific Northwest, she’s drawn to the beauty and energy of these places & loves reimagining them on canvas.
With a background in engineering, Ruolin naturally gravitates toward structure, geometry, and clean lines. Her paintings are a playful blend of that precision with expressive color, where bold shapes and vibrant palettes comes together. Each piece is her way of exploring the balance between order and creativity, and sharing a fresh, personal take on the landscapes she loves.
